Here’s a detailed overview of Klum’s impressive 2025 Halloween transformation — her costume, concept and build

stepped out at her annual Halloween party in New York dressed as the mythological Medusa, the Gorgon whose hair is snakes and whose gaze reportedly turns people to stone. 

Her husband, Tom Kaulitz, joined the theme by appearing as a Greek soldier turned to stone — tying into the Medusa legend. 

The look featured green-scale body makeup, writhing snakes on her headpiece, and a dramatic tongue/fangs detail.

 The Creation & Preparation

The costume was a major production: it reportedly took nine hours of makeup application and a team of over 15 people to bring the look to life. 

Planning began months in advance — reports say about six months of conceptual work to arrive at this version of Medusa. 

Klum described her goal as being “really, really like a really ugly, ugly Medusa”, and she felt the team “nailed it — to the teeth”. 

 The Context

This marked Klum’s 24th (or 25th, by some counts) annual “Heidiween” Halloween party, a tradition where she’s become known for extremely elaborate costumes. 

Over the years, she has transformed into a worm, a peacock, and many other surreal creations — cementing her reputation as the “Queen of Halloween”
